This role is in charge of supporting our Japan-based sales team to meet our customer requests. This involves coordinating with related departments to respond to a wide variety of enquiries. In this role you will work with marketing and sales team to coordinate the resolution of any customer issues. You will also support the preparation of monthly and weekly sales reports and other essential tasks.
Key Responsibilities of the role
Assist our Japanese sales team with all activities.
Work with different departments within the group to collect necessary documents and data.
Coordinate the completion of samples and relevant documents by support departments to respond to customer enquiries
Assist sales managers with cost analyzing and liaise with colleagues to evaluate/eliminate errors & discrepancies on cost.
Assist sales managers with value engineering proposals.
Assist sales to obtain drawings and certificates from databases.
Work with marketing and sales team to coordinate any change requests relating to Japanese customers.
Prepare monthly and weekly sales reports.
Ensure effective communications between factory and the team.
Bachelor or diploma in management.
Preferably 3+ years of experience in a customer service / inside sales role
CRM experience preferable (Salesforce or other tools)
Skills and competencies:
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Good command over English language and ability to translate well with sales manager on meetings.
Good in translation from Japanese to English and vice versa
Hands on experience in MS Word, Excel
Passionate, hard worker & well organized professional with power to prioritize and multitask.
