Description of Role
To manage inventory in order to supply the production team with the necessary parts for manufacturing products
Key Responsibilities of the role
Specific duties and responsibilities unique to this job:
- cycle count inventory and verify with computer count
- adjust count in computer as necessary to match actual
- receive parts, label and place on shelves in proper locations
- retrieve parts for work orders and as requested by the production team
- accurately count a variety of parts
- reject and disposition damaged products
- control inventory between warehouses per buyer’s instructions
- meet pre-scheduled planning dates of work orders

Equipment used:
PC (Windows-based) and printer, calculator, multi-line phone, copier, scale, labeler, spinner/counter, ladder, bag sealer
Work environment and conditions, travel, potential hazards:
This is an electronics field service and manufacturing environment that requires the use of safety devices including glasses with side shields and ESD equipment/clothing.
Job qualifications ( minimum , required experience/skills/knowledge)
PC skills – Windows programs, basic math and accurate counting skills
Job qualifications ( preferred , experience/skills/knowledge)
Previous experience in a distribution, material handling environment, JD Edwards (software) experience
Physical activity and sensory requirements:
Read, write, speak, and understand English
Ability to handle multiple tasks and have an attention to detail
Walking through the stock aisles on concrete floors for most of shift, stocking of products on shelves, occasional lifting of 25 pounds maximum
